News Great Plains Nursing and Rehabilitation

We make it our top priority to care for seniors with the respect, compassion and dignity they deserve. We understand that caring is what makes a community and without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.

We communicate openly with our community, while still maintaining the respect and privacy of our residents, their families, and our staff.

At Great Plains Nursing our culture is grounded in the golden rule and Christian ethic of, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Great Plains has stepped up to help the surrounding community by agreeing to accept and treat COVID-19 positive residents from locations outside of our own facility. Our highly skilled team has been extensively trained in infection control procedures.Because we have the necessary equipment, training, space, and supplies, we feel it is our duty to care for one of the most vulnerable populations affected by this virus. We are very proud to offer this service. You can read more abbout our Cohort status, here.

We are following all guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, CMS, and other leading health officials. You can read more about our infection control practices in our Open Letter.
